Description

Re-imagining Politics and Place in Community

Re-imagine everything you think about Australian politics and hear the common experiences of Christians who engage in politics, how you can find Christians across the political spectrum, the demographics of the 2019 Federal election and how Christians can best engage as informed citizens.

From her experience in politics and community groups, including an arthouse cinema and a local SES unit, Alithea will touch on the crucial need for Christians to be immersed in their local community and in tune with the difficulties faced.

Alithea will also guide us in thinking about how Christians can articulate political perspectives that show an understanding of the complexities of public policy, whilst also remembering the authority of Christ, both in what we are called to do and in what we know is His work alone.
