Dr Roshan Allpress

Dr Roshan Allpress is National Principal/Chief Executive of Laidlaw College, Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest Christian higher education provider that serves to train people for church ministry, mission, teaching, counselilng and all forms of Christian leadership. An historian by training, with degrees from Canterbury and Oxford, his research focuses on how networks effect intergeneratioanl social and cultural change. Roshan is author of popular books on the Bible and Christian living, and his most recent monograph, Brisith Philanthropy in the Globalizing World: Entrepreneurs and Evangelicals, 1756 ­– 1840, has recently been released through Oxford University Press. Roshan has a background in non-profit leadership and public policy, and serves on a number of boards. He and his wife Lottie live in Auckland with their three children.
